Reducing our carbon footprint is something we can do as individuals, for example, reducing meat intake or reducing flying, or it can be something we do as a group locally.

If you have any ideas about ways of doing this in our neighbourhood then we would love to hear from you.

Reducing our carbon footprint is beneficial for life on earth but also should be helping us economise, so it is a win-win. We want to help the Winslow area to adapt to some of the changes that will be necessary in order to achieve the government's carbon targets by 2050

Tree planting is a key element in reducing the impact of our carbon output. Trees absorb vast quantities of carbon dioxide.  We want to plant as many trees as possible, including trees in hedges. Where possible we are asked to plant large quantities of trees over the next 30 years. Carbon reduction and biodiversity merge in the planting of trees. See our Biodiversity page for more information.
